Timbalan Presiden UMNO, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin memberitahu, semua bantahan yang diterima akan diteliti oleh jawatankuasa bantahan dan seterusnya dikemukakan kepada jawatankuasa pengurusan untuk membuat keputusan.
”Aduan dan bantahan yang diterima tidak menjejaskan pemilihan. Mana yang sudah selesai dan disahkan oleh jawatankuasa pemilihan telah dimuktamadkan.
”Tetapi terdapat kes-kes tertentu yang mungkin memerlukan pemilihan semula. Ada beberapa kes kita akan teliti dan diputuskan sebelum Perhimpunan Agung UMNO 2013 nanti,” katanya selepas Mesyuarat MT UMNO.
